Unilateral increase of mobile telephone license fees

In connection with renewing 3G/4G telecom licenses in Jordan, the regulatory authority imposed three-fold increased license fees to an incumbent operator. We initiated an ICSID proceeding to protect the risk of more than 110 million euros and a diplomatic discussion with the State, and later with regulatory authorities, as a means to implement a negotiated solution.
