Lazareff Le Bars is pleased to announce its 7th Annual Vis Pre-Moot that will be conducted on Friday 22 March 2019.
This event will be an excellent opportunity for students to practice their pleading before arbitral tribunals composed of professionals specialized in arbitration as a preparation for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna.
This year, our premoot event with be chaired by Jean-André Diaz, Senior litigation advisor & Of counsel at LLB, President of the IBA Energy Section.
This year, Lazareff Le Bars is proud to welcome the participation of more than 130 individuals comprising of students and 36 prominent practitioners (lawyers, in-house counsels, professors) who will be acting as arbitrators.
Lazareff Le Bars will be hosting teams from 16 universities around the world. Last year LLB team hosted teams from Finland, France, Germany, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic and the United-Kingdom.
The Pre-Moot will take place in Paris, and will consist of four rounds starting from 9 am. The event will close with a cocktail reception in the evening and with the announcement of the winner team and the best individual oralist.
