Athina Fouchard Papaefstratiou, speaker at the next conference organised by Sciences Po Law School on the 13th of March.

Athina Fouchard Papaefstratiou, counsel in international commercial and investment disputes at Lazareff Le Bars, has been invited to be in the line-up for the conference on “The future of investment treaty arbitration”. This conference is organised by the students of the “Economic Litigation and Arbitration” master course at Sciences Po Law School, which will be held at the White & Case offices on the 13th of March.

 

The conference will be organised in the form of two debates moderated by Roderick Cordara, Queen’s Counsel at Essex Court Chambers, and Charles Nairac, partner at White & Case.

 

Athina Fouchard Papaefstratiou will debate with Jiries Saadeh, Solicitor Advocate at the law firm Fietta, the question of whether an investment treaty court is a solution to the legitimacy crisis that the current investment treaty system is going through.
