Benoit Le Bars will speak during the European Congress on Business Dispute Management, jointly organised by the CPR (International Institute For Conflict Prevention & Resolution) and its European Advisory Board, and the CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution), which will take place on Tuesday 28 March 2017, at MasterCard’s seat in London.
His intervention, scheduled at the end of the morning, will address the following issue: “Optimizing the benefits of arbitration and protecting yourself in the world’s hot spots – What are the dispute prevention and resolution options when doing business in challenging jurisdictions where courts may not be trustworthy and arbitration awards may not be enforced?”.
Many internal legal counsels, legal experts, distinguished international arbitrators and mediators will take part to this conference. The main speaker, John Fellas, from the firm Hughes Hubbard & Reed in New York, will share his practice of international arbitration. Other speakers attending come from the legal and business world among which Akzo Nobel, BP, Chartered Standard Bank, Deutsche Bank, Corporation Fluor, GSK, Mastercard, Monsanto, Orange, Shell, Siemens et Wärtsilä Corporation, and several international law firms.
