Registrations are now open for the 6th Lazareff Le Bars Vis Pre-Moot, to be held in Paris on 9 February 2018.
For the past five years, Lazareff Le Bars has organized a Pre-Moot competition for teams participating in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
Each year, Lazareff Le Bars has invited teams based in France as well as in other countries, including Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, UK, Russia and Ireland. The Lazareff Le Bars Vis Pre-Moot is a perfect occasion to meet Vis Moot participants from other countries and share the Vis Moot experience.
The Lazareff Le Bars Vis Pre-Moot provides an excellent opportunity for teams to practise their pleadings in the format employed in Vienna. The participating teams plead before arbitral tribunals that are familiar with the case, composed of senior practicing lawyers, law professors, arbitrators, ICC counsel and in-house counsel.

Please note that we are able to register only the first 16 applicants. As we received a large number of applications last year, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible, in order to secure your place in the 6th Lazareff Le Bars Vis Pre-Moot.
There are no registration fees for participating teams. Participating teams will have to bear their travel and accommodation costs. However, we would be happy to provide you with accommodation options, if needed, and we note that if booked in advance, trains/flights to Paris could be very reasonable.
