LLB partner(s) were active in privatisation across the former Soviet Union republics since 1991 and advised on governments and purchasers of the largest steel production facilities in Poland, Romania and Bulgaria, including Huta Katowice (Poland), SIDEX (Romania), Resita Steel works (Romania), Dunaferr (Hungary) and Kremikovski (Poland). In the case of Resits Steel works, Michael McNutt was a shareholder of the US entity that purchased the shares from the Romanian state and actively managed operations at the facility in a highly publicised ICSID dispute.
